Decorate Your Bedroom For St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick's day is pretty soon!  If you're one of those people who really like decorating your bedroom for different holidays, or maybe just need some inspiration, you'll find what you're looking for here!

Let's start with your bed.  If you have a green comforter, there's a start, but if not, throw a thin green blanket on top of your normal comforter.  Then, buy (or sew) some St. Patrick's day blankets.  Maybe ones with clovers on it or something.  Fold it in half and put it at the bottom of your bed.  Now for pillows!  Just add some St. Patrick's day throw pillows or green throw pillows.

You'll probably want to add some decor or paintings or something.  You know how there are some pictures with melted crayons rainbows?  Well you can do that, but add a pot of gold towards the side or something.  Or maybe you can just do the crayon art thing, but with tons of different shades of green.  Or you can grab some foam or wooden letters and spray paint them green.  Maybe they can spell out "Lucky" or something.

Comment any other ideas or send me pictures of your creations!

Indoor Fort!

How about a fort!  These are very fun to relax in, and you can make them as complex as you want!  I'll just be teaching you how to make a simple one.

Materials:
Blankets, sheets or quilts
Pillows
Chairs (about four)
Clothespins or tape

How to:
1. You're first going to need to set out your chairs.  Put two chairs nap almost next to each other, then the other two across from both of them.
2.  Now you're going to need to build the walls and the ceiling.  Take a blanket and lay it over the top of your four chairs.  Attach them with clothespins to the chairs.  For the walls, attach those blankets to the ceiling blanket with clothespins.

3. For the entrance/exit, you can just flip up the blanket wall.

4.  Fill in cracks of the "walls" with pillows and scrunched up blankets.

5.  Decorate the inside!  Banners, stickers, pillows, even a fake floor with another blanket.  Now you can relax, watch movies on a portable DVD player, listen to music, or hang with friends if it is large enough.
